Every oil change starts with draining the old oil completely, replacing the oil filter with a manufacturer-specified unit, refilling to the correct capacity with the oil weight your vehicle requires, and a multi-point inspection of fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and belts. We do not rush oil changes. A proper oil change takes 20 to 30 minutes when done right.
The old 3,000-mile rule is outdated for most modern vehicles. Full synthetic oil typically lasts 5,000 to 7,500 miles in normal driving conditions, and some manufacturer specifications allow up to 10,000 miles. However, if you frequently make short trips (under 5 miles), tow heavy loads, or drive in dusty conditions, shorter intervals are appropriate regardless of what the oil type allows. We look at your actual vehicle and driving conditions and recommend the interval that makes sense, not the one that brings you back sooner.
